Dalgarno Youth Programme is where our youth thrive. We run a service that allows our young people to grow and develop in sports, academics and their social and emotional abilities with the support of our dedicated and experienced youth team. Our work is focused on the youth and their needs and encourages them to build resilience and enjoy life.
Our mission is to see our children and young people grow to be strong, confident and able adults. We want them to have a bright future where we see them thriving in all aspects of life.
We provide our youth with a warm, safe and caring space where they are able to build relationships and contribute to activities. We are an all-inclusive setting for all youth regardless of race, gender or beliefs.
Our after-school timetables are developed to allow our children and young people to access a range of activities to broaden their experiences and learning. We also run holiday programmes during the school holidays from 10am-3pm (dates vary depending on the school holidays) for 7-16-year-olds. Activities include sports, arts and crafts, healthy cooking, music, indoor games, challenges and much more.
We use the time with our youth to discuss concerns they may face, what they would like to see from us, how we can better help and support them and encourage them to use their voices to be proactive and supportive young members of the community. Our youth take pride in their setting, working together to keep it clean and tidy, teaching them about respecting our environments.
We listen to feedback from our youths and parents to review and update our activities, so keep checking the website and socials for updates.
The Dalgarno Youth Programme is committed to providing high-quality of youth work, support and opportunities for our youth. In 2021 we were awarded the Bronze Level London Youth Quality Mark.
