Rain couldn’t stop the fun at our Street Party!

On Sunday 14 September, we came together for a wonderful afternoon at our Street Party – and not even the rain could dampen the fun! ️ Families and neighbours enjoyed an incredible animal show by @livingthingsuk, sweet treats like slushies, candy floss, and popcorn, plenty of laughter on the bouncy castle, colourful face painting, and a surprise visit from a friendly mascot, all by @ready_set_parties.

Our amazing staff and volunteers were at the heart of the day, offering advice, running a super fun tombola with exciting prizes, serving delicious jacket potatoes and more from the kitchen, and keeping everyone entertained with with music from our very own DJ, henna, football and games across the centre.

We also welcomed stalls with important community information, including @Coopuk encouraging more members to support us as their local cause, and @Barclaysuk raising awareness about scams with their brilliant truck, and the Community Police engaging with neighbours throughout the afternoon.

We were honoured to be joined by the RBKC Deputy Mayor, Cllr Areti, representing @mayorofkensingtonandchelsea, who had a great conversation with our Chair of Trustees, Guy Ranawake, and our CEO, Esma Dukali.

Huge thanks to our funders @MayorofLDN and @TNLCommunityFund for making this event possible, as part of the Mayor of London Community Weekend, to all our partners and supporters, and most of all to our local community for coming along and creating such a warm, joyful atmosphere.

Beautiful moments captured by our volunteer photographer, Naman Goel. Thank you for these great shots!

Together we made it a day to remember, celebrating connection, fun and community spirit.
